Definitely not if you want it to work stably

(Reviewed July 2021, purchased August 2020, so reviewed after almost a year of use.) I bought them because I need a light above my washing machine / dryer. in my garage. Yes, the dimmer is in an odd place - it's not near the plug or near the light. Either would be better than its actual position, which is about 2ft from the plug - uncomfortable. Actually, this is not my main complaint. I installed one unit and left the other in case I need it on the go. The one above the laundry room works most of the time, but if it runs too long it will start blinking, which is annoying. I figured it's because it's plugged into the same outlet as the washing machine and the washing machine might be affecting its power consumption or something (I'm not an engineer), so I'm not overly concerned about that. If it gets bad (flashing lights really bother me) I just turn it off. I have other lights next to the room so it's not a disaster. Here's light #2: after almost a year in the box I pulled another one out and plugged it in in my bedroom to use as a task light about a week ago and when I turned it on today it was blinking, blinking. Pooh. So annoying and this time I can't ignore it because it's the light I really need. Of course I'm MUCH outside the reverse window now (definitely my fault so I'm not complaining) but it seems reasonable to let others know that there seems to be some sort of short circuit in these lights making the light unreliable. . If I had a choice (and I do now) I wouldn't buy them again.
