These are so light that for unknown reasons the shank of one earring bent while I was wearing it. It came without a curve in the line of gems, which I liked, but I was able to bend it into that shape easily. I'm just afraid it will bend and break too much on its own. I also had a hard time keeping it in place. They tend to twirl in my ears even after replacing the back with a larger, more durable one. However, the earrings are extraordinarily beautiful and, considering the last few years, worth their price. Definitely giftable once you get a nice box or a way to gift it.
