The base doesn't have as much clip spacing as I thought looking at the pictures but I was able to get it to work. The big problem is that it just can't handle my tablet case because it's a bit wobbly. Luckily, on the rough side, it also has a velcro strap on the back that I can place on the mount, which allows the tablet's base to sit at an angle in the mount. Which seems to be working fine for the most part. In my opinion at least, it's a lot better than taking the tablet out of the case every time I want to use the stand. I just wish it was a little deeper so it could just handle the fall naturally.
