Really good replacement for an 80's factory that fell apart. I was very pleased to find that the handles only rotate a quarter turn. That's when I realized I didn't have to worry about a leaking valve stem anymore. !***** CAUTION - Hot/cold valves open in mirror image. YOU HAVE THEM CLOSED IF * both turn counter-clockwise. So to get hot from closed turn the knob clockwise BUT cold water needs to turn counter clockwise to open. *** I say this so everyone can be sure that both valves are properly closed before water is returned to the system. Didn't do it myself
