Review on Dorman 695 900 Wheel Speed Sensor: Reliable Performance and Precise Accuracy by Kevin Apriando

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Saved $190+, easy to install.

I was bored at first because this sensor was cheaper than the competition, but it really worked. I had an annoying ABS light on my Jeep Wrangler about two weeks after the warranty expired. Every time I made a hard turn or backed up, the ABS light would come on and then go off. Tried it with a normal scanner, found nothing. I then used my FlashCal which I already had (which I use to calibrate different wheel sizes) and it gave me the front wheel speed sensor code. You will need a scanner with ABS ($90 Revain) or Flash Cal to find the code. The AU Tube video gave me installation instructions and after two hours the problem was solved. Traders take 200+. The process was about as simple as a complicated brake pad change and the like. hope it lasts

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
