Not usually a friend of plastic things when there are similar metal things, but this is definitely an exception. It's lightweight, picks up balls easily and holds up to 70 balls without having to rearrange balls in the basket to fit more. Being plastic I imagine if you handle it roughly or press hard to get the balls out (which isn't necessary at all - just minimal pressure on the ball or a few balls and they'll bounce into the bunker easily) , it could fall apart or fail prematurely. I enjoy the ease of just placing the hopper's weight on the ball or balls to collect them. In terms of assembly, the four sides fit together easily, just make sure you insert the 4 rods (top two and bottom two) into the holes before connecting the last corner, then screw the corners with the ones provided screws together. Look at the picture on the box to understand the holes for the handles and the two screws on each side. Makes collecting 120 balls from the ball machine so much easier and faster it's really fun.
