This is a GREAT DISCOUNT! I had so much fun playing with this SDR. Some caveats, follow the email instructions in the letter. The driver software download instructions are incorrect. The device should appear as NE SDR. it is not. it will appear as a bulk device. The instructions will tell you which address of the device is displayed correctly. Once the driver loaded, I downloaded the software and enjoyed it. No, it's not a flex radio. but it's a well built little sdr thst that you can slip in your laptop bag to take the radio with you on business trips. The Ham it frequency converter is great too. One thing wrong in the description is that the NE SDR covers the range from 100kHz to 1.7GHz. That is not true. NE SDR initially covers the band from 25 MHz to 1.7 GHz. For reception below 25MHz you need to use an upconverter. You also need to set the offset to -125MHz in the SDR software. Once you have done this, you can receive HF ham radio and shortwave radio. This is really good business. Highly recommended!
