Review on πŸ”’ Enhance Cargo Security with Propel Paddle Gear Hood Trunk Tie-Down Loop by Charley Martinez

Brilliant idea for tying

Brilliant idea for an easy way to tie the ends of a kayak to the car. Simply open the trunk lid or bonnet, place the rubber end so the loop rests on the fender, then close the bonnet or trunk. I've found that if I leave the included black rope tied in a knot, the end of the loop weighs more and is easier to hold in place while I hold the other and close the trunk. That's a great idea. They are cheap and eliminate the need to crawl on the ground looking for a place to tie down a kayak. I use them in conjunction with the Universal Kayak Roof Rack which is two pieces of high density foam rubber with a shallow V shape at the top and comes with two ratchet straps. Together these elements secure my kayak on the roof of my Toyota Solara.
