The bottle is not insulated so the water heats up quickly like a regular disposable bottle. I bought these for travel as they are very comfortable for a day trip and fold well into a suitcase or backpack. They are also useful for filling airport security and then easily stowed away when travelling. The flip nipple's screw cap can leak if it's not properly closed, and it can fall apart if you throw other objects at it. Just keep it away from your phone and papers and you'll be fine.
