All the valves in the house have been replaced with 10 plus a few extra valves with two 1/2" outlets for the kitchen. Pros: good value for money. , 10 pieces. includes a removal tool, looks great and even includes a matching plastic "hide/guard" cover for the back to hide the plastic "thrust ring" that exposes the valve. Allows quick removal of valves to facilitate cabinet replacement. No more rubber pads to spill or turning knobs to keep them from boiling over when not in use. 1/4 quick on/off switching. Cons: Like the previous reviewer, I couldn't get out after installing (bought escheons and left one out) (will try again later). Some of them were surprisingly hard to push through (especially if the pipe could "fall through" the wall). I had to tap them with a hammer to sit on the pipe (I don't think this was a pre-treatment as they were sanded and had a good finish, followed by cleaning with a shark bite tool). I sanded down the butt of the tube to remove some of the paint and removed the old oxidized copper finish to make it shiny again. You can twist when you turn the (hard) faucet.* I read in a shark bite manual a long time ago that you have to remove the plastic insert and that it's for use in plastic pipe plumbing, and with copper you can walk around naked . I mentioned this to a professional plumber who worked but didn't know about it. Pulling on the connector can slightly move the gripper teeth inward and cause a harder push. Sometimes the plastic connector comes off easily, and a couple of times its base has been scratched when pulling it out. Needle nose pliers work well for this. Don't pull, pry, shake. Nothing leaks after installation.
