This device gets a rare review from me because it works great for $20. The stand can be upgraded to hold the camera farther away for a wider view, aka 'less zoom'. 1. Download and view the Android OTG Viewer app if you are using Android 10 to get the API support file. 2. Remove the plastic lens cap marked "open". 3. Connect to your Android device and set it up at the right distance. 4. Focus the lens. 5. Adjust the light intensity with the wheel on the cable. The increase in "zoom" is actually determined by the camera's distance from the surface being viewed. Consider different images of fabrics made from the same material. The camera can be placed much further than the minimum "zoom" stand allows. It works well enough to test circuit boards. 640x480 works on my Android 10 phone. I haven't been able to get 640 x 480 to work on my 10 inch Android 9 tablet yet - seems weird? For 20€ I am very satisfied. I saw a comment about how it focuses. Obviously, the focus has limited depth - it's a lot. I don't think you can get anything better for $20 but if you find one let me know!
