This will be very good for my Halloween decorations! I bought some remote controlled pool lights last year to try the same but the remote was pretty bad. As you can see in the video, the function change works well when the light is in the bucket. It also worked well when I tried it across the room. I really like that you can set the timer to automatically turn off after 1/2, 1, 3 or 6 hours. I have a lot of backlit decorations, so the fewer elements I have to turn off, or at least think about turning off, the better. This would be a safe/convenient way to light up real jack-o'-lanterns. They would make an excellent primary light source for closets and closets, but the different colors and features make them so versatile. I look forward to finding new and creative ways to use them!
