Much easier to use than it looks

When I first opened this product I was quite intimidated by all the ruler measurements and grading aids and thought it would be too difficult for my beginner skills. However, the instructions and illustrations helped me every step of the way, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to make the box and first time in just a few minutes with no problems (I've used them proudly in Easter baskets). I found the envelope sizes a bit tricky, but I don't really need to make envelopes, so I experimented with this option a lot less. All you need is a paper cutter and a supply of thicker paper for the boxes. and any kind of sandpaper (cardstock works just as well as thinner paper). I now save my long strips of paper to use for future bows (the paper size required is small - only 10 inches or 7-1/8 inches long and 1 to 1-1/2 inches wide). The black and white instructions also include a manual chart to help you determine paper size for envelopes and bows.Everything you need (except a paper cutter) is included to make boxes, bows, and envelopes with ease. The only suggestion I have for this product is that I would like some sort of internal compartment for the instructions and manual table so there is less chance of losing it. That slight oversight aside, I think this is a great product that even a beginner can easily use. The boxes you make are quite small - the largest is only 4" x 4" but they are perfect for sweets and small gifts for children's parties. The bows are also small but charming. like this product a lot more than i originally thought. It's inexpensive and easy to use.
