I bought this LED light in 2016. I'm happy with it, but I have to buy a new one because my power cord/switch broke shortly after purchase. This problem did not occur in "typical use" per se. I had a lantern on the floor while servicing the tank and tripped over the spot where the power cord goes into the lantern. This completely destroyed the LED so nothing worked until I wiggled the connection. Inspired by the possibility of fixing my broken flashlight, I opened it up and MacGyver fixed it and fixed the broken electrical connection. This is a fix that a moderately nerdy person can do. 5 years after my repair the light stopped working. A foresighted person would not have left the light on if he could smack his foot on the ankle (even if it was a gentle nudge). I took off a star because I'm not the only person who doesn't have the foresight to be more careful and people throw everything over the top so a more reliable connection would be an improvement. I could buy the same light and learn from my tutorial.
