I needed a third tripod to set up the station and didn't want to waste what I had in the past. This is an almost identical version of my meFoto, just a little heavier and heavier. The size isn't too bad as my meFoto tripod is almost too light. The main features I like are the leg extension clip adjustment, as I have not liked the rotation settings on meFoto over the years. Slip-on clips are simply faster, easier and more reliable. I like that it's much higher. My favorite feature is the dual collar adjustment which greatly reduces the need to adjust leg height during a school photo shoot. The only complaint I currently have is the lack of rubber around the tripod head grips. Those plastic grips could be MUCH better. Even if the grooves were smaller, it would be nice to have more grip.
