Soft stretch material, more like a thin t-shirt material than compression shorts. Comfortable yet thin and shows every curve. I mainly wanted to wear under dresses so they work. Most of my summer dresses don't have pockets, and neither do these shorts. I'll wear these shorts when the day is right. Thin elastication at the top of the waist. Worn once, washed twice. I wonder if it will be pills. They fit well and stretch a little throughout the day. I've bought a lot of shorts lately and these are the loosest fit of all in one size. The material is unique to what I have. The rest is more compressive. Just the exchange of information. :) The color goes well with the dresses I had in mind. I'm glad I have her.
