Overall this is a good product for what it is, a folding ladder/wooden shelving unit. The issues I had were in the packaging, an end cap was broken due to a missing seal in the box. The brackets that attach it to the truck are powder coated. This is good EXCEPT they don't snag on threads making it almost impossible to install the bolts and the thick powder coating also prevented some of them from slipping into the rack. I had to scrape and sand it to make it work. Also, I have a 2006 F350 and the bolts are too short so I can't install the locknuts. I need screws 1 inch longer. It would be nice if they sent me a new end cap and new screws 1 inch longer so they don't come loose. Finally, as I have a long bed, there is a lid in the center section to store rubber bands etc. There are no instructions on how to do this and again the excess powder coating made installation very difficult.
