At 17 ounces I think this is a 2-3 cup coffee pot. It works very well and doesn't waste paper! Most days I just wash the filter. My video shows some water on the outside, which I think is because I didn't dry it properly after the first wash. I set up a 2 cup grinder and the coffee was perfect! I have a photo of a giant mug and a 6 ounce mug for comparison and she made 3 big mugs by filling the pot to the brim. The coffee tastes great! For me no difference to Chemex coffee, only I have a huge Chemex pot and a larger cone size. I always only moisten the ground coffee and notice by my nose when the coffee has "bloomed", i.e. the bitter smell is gone, before I pour out the rest of the coffee pot. This part makes a noticeable difference for me. Instead of a carafe, you can also brew a cup over a real coffee cup. The pot does not drip when pouring, easy to clean. I don't put either of these in the dishwasher, so I can't comment on how well it works there. At $21, it's worth it if you only need 2 cups of coffee.
