As this was my first experience with a car roof rack I was very nervous that I had fitted it incorrectly and kept stopping along the way to recheck the straps. I didn't have to worry. After properly attaching the straps to the inner door frame, I tightened them and tucked the ends in as directed. Although the air flowing past the straps was noisy at first, I got used to it. My belongings arrived dry and undamaged at their destination. Also, I've driven very large interstates with high speed limits (70 mph and up) and never felt like this thing would fly off my roof and back to a poor driver behind me. All of this plus creates an AMAZING amount of space in my tiny 2 door Mini Cooper and I'm happy to say it was a great purchase!
