Worked great for my 16 hour round trip to Disney World. It rained a few times and the luggage didn't get wet. One strap came loose at first, but I solved this problem by wrapping the strap twice around the empty loop keeper next to it. No other problems. As this was my first experience with a car roof rack I was very nervous that I had fitted it incorrectly and kept stopping along the way to recheck the straps. I didn't have to worry.
