I strapped this bag to my Kia Soul with no trunk to drive 1600 miles from Baltimore to Colorado and it literally saved me from having to spend hundreds of dollars to ship all the stuff I normally would wouldn't fit in my car. I have no complaints about him! I put 4 HUGE boxes of clothes/other random stuff in this bag, it's HUGE. I know there are many conflicting reviews about this item on here, but let me tell you how to avoid a bad experience with this bag. Fill your bag as much as possible! The heavier it is, the less it will slip and stick to your car. The more shape you give the bag, the less noise it makes in the wind (I made almost no noise) and the less likely it is to tear (I didn't have a single damage after that). I used a blanket as the top layer so nothing sharp would pierce through. We didn't buy car clips, so we threaded the rope through the holes in the car clip for a better grip on the bag. I highly recommend it. To prevent the bag from flying open, place the zipper towards the back of the car so the wind can't open it. Tie it as tight as you can and you're good to go! It will be quite difficult to throw at the car, so you'll need an extra hand or two. After emptying the bag when I arrived at my destination, the bag literally still looked brand new! I hope you have as much luck as I have with this carrier! Excellent purchase!
