Review on Sennheiser E935 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld by Juraci Cruz

Overall, I really liked this microphone. As a soprano, she conveyed my voice very well. However, what I didn't realize is that you need an interface with the right impedance to get the best sound quality. Impedance indicates how much power the microphone itself is returning to the interface. If the impedance of the microphone is higher than that of the interface, it can override the system and cause feedback. I only found out the day my package was supposed to arrive. So I'd recommend making sure the interface is higher or at the same level as the mic you're plugging it into. I'm currently using a Forsurite Scarlett 3rd Gen at 200 ohms, but this mic has an impedance of 350 ohms. As a result, the interface does not get along with the microphone at all. However, if you have the right interface, I'm sure this mic will work just fine. Instead, I get a Shure 55sh II Gen. It's the same price and slightly shorter range than the Sennheiser, but it has an impedance of 150 ohms, which is perfect. I don't usually write product reviews, but I felt the need to write one so people don't waste time and money like me. If you have the right interface, I'm sure this mic will suit you! Thank you! ☺️
