Good product for its purpose. An evenly worn floor with little wear looks better. However, if the floor has been rubbed through the shiny finish down to the wood to the point where the worn spot looks like it has been sanded away, forget it. While this improves its appearance, it does not make it invisible. If the stains have "greyed" or faded, they will need to be repainted to look satisfactory. You'll have to experiment with colors to get the right result, but something like a rifle stock finish just needs a regular oak stain to blend well. Bruce advises against using it on newly painted areas, so take a good quality urethane spray can and mix it out.
