poor quality, broke almost immediately causing my backpack to get stuck, had to cut the strap!
A whistle would be good IF the clasp wasn't so badly made that it broke immediately! Luckily it broke while I was home the night before the hike! I bought this to replace a standard chest harness that had the elastic loosening with age, so I just put the original harness back on (with a good quality buckle that lasted about 10 years) and the hike wasn't ruined - close!
