I thought about getting a phone mount for my car for a couple of years but held off because my previous car had a decent place to hide my phone when I was driving and I even had a place to secure it if I had to use it for GPS. However, my new car doesn't have any of these features, and over the past month I've been more serious about buying a mount, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. At first I was skeptical about this mount. How good can it be for $5? I was worried that my phone wouldn't fit since I keep it in the OtterBox or that the mount would move during travel. . Surprisingly, it holds my phone perfectly, and even with the added weight of my case, the mount stays securely attached to the air vent. It seems pretty solid at the moment, but even if it breaks in a year, I think I'll just replace it with the same one.
