I feel bad. I bought a brown "leather” minimalist wallet with a detachable wrist strap, thinking it was real leather. After receiving it I'm 99.9% sure it's PU leather (PU as it smells like PU lol) which is synthetic not real leather. It stinks a lot so if you like faux leather I definitely recommend leaving it somewhere for it to evaporate so all your stuff doesn't smell in your bag or wherever you keep it. It's very pretty and I'd like it to be real leather, I'd definitely keep it. Personally, I don't believe in faux leather because the smell of it makes me sick and I inevitably wonder how daily contact with it can affect my health in the long term. Hope that helps. Conclusion: from the description it is not clear that it is actually real leather, after opening the box there is a very strong chemical smell and it does not seem to me that it is real leather. Nicely made and otherwise doesn't feel like a bad product, although I can't say how it will hold up to everyday use. Take care of yourself and stay healthy.
