This plug has a slightly smaller 2" inner diameter which means it will wobble a bit in a true 2" hole. The problem is that if pulling any cables on that side, it's pulling out of the hole or sitting at an awkward angle. I'll probably need to put some glue on that side to actually get it stuck in my hole and not pull up. See attached picture. to see That's what I'm complaining about. That's fine aside from a poor fit. But since the whole purpose of the purchase was to have an aesthetically pleasing cord opening, the fact that the grommet sits at an angle doesn't make me very happy.
