To install this correctly you MUST use a solution of soapy water first otherwise it will be very difficult to fit onto the window. . The product description mentions this, but I think some of the bad reviewers didn't realize it. I mixed some baby shampoo with water in a spray bottle, shook it a few times and then sprayed it very liberally on the glass, I also applied the foil. Lay on the foil, which will stick fairly quickly, so I suggest just attaching a few edges until you can position the foil correctly. Spray on more soap solution as needed to keep it from becoming too sticky. Once you have it attached, use a credit card or squeegee to squeeze out the water and bubbles. After scraping, use a rag or polishing cloth and rub the film in all directions to clean and complete the installation. Tiny microbubbles may initially be present on the film, but these usually disappear after a few days.
