I couldn't get the smartthings hub to turn on as a flood sensor

I couldn't get the Samsung smartthings hub to turn on as a flood sensor. I turned the device off and on several times. Each time it turned on as a motion sensor and did nothing. I don't recommend this sensor for smartthings, maybe it will work with other hubs.
