Review on πŸ”₯ Govee Bluetooth Meat Thermometer: 230ft Range Wireless Grill Thermometer with Smart Alerts - Ideal for Smoker, BBQ, Cooking & More by Tanya Barker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for the price, the only downside is it doesn't show decimals.

Pros: It just works, turn it on, install the app and after the first connection you just need to launch the app and connect. The app is good, it might be a bit easier to add your own tempi, but once you do it's easy to do again, they're in the section labeled DIY. Ideal for drinks/liquids as well as meat. : The only real downside is the lack of decimals, even one would be better than none, so it's hard to judge how accurate it is because you don't know if it's pointing to 100.9 or 100.0. But I checked it with two other thermometers and it was usually close to within half a degree, but again it's hard to tell without decimals. They're really insignificant, the app has a tiny portion of the screen for ads and I mean really tiny, so it's not intrusive. I don't like ads in apps, but if I need them, they have to be at least this tiny. I wouldn't mind a paid version of the app without ads. And it really doesn't matter when the alarm goes off. and you turn it off on your phone, it won't turn off on the thermometer, but if you turn it off on the thermometer, it will also turn off the phone's signal. I just wish it worked both ways. When you turn it on for the first time or change the batteries, you need to press and hold the orange button for about 3 seconds, it's not instantaneous, so it's easy to mistake it for a broken one.
