Attach alligator clips to your car's battery. Connect the other end to the inverter. Plug a power strip or two into inverter outlets and as soon as you start your car, you've just created a backup generator that runs all night without refueling. Also, most cars are quieter than most generators. All you have to do is dump your vehicle's exhaust fumes outside of your garage. I use an adapter, clamps and flexible stainless steel hose. Works great. Note: If your inverter is not a pure sine wave inverter, do not connect Smart TVs or your computers to it. Ideal for fridge, freezer, oven and multiple lights.
