You get what you pay for
Handguards aren't as strong as brand names, but they're not as bad. Where they fail is in the mounting hardware. The hex head screws are extremely soft and screw directly into the aluminum bracket. The tips are also complete rubbish. I would go back but found a couple of retainers I had from an old set of moose handcuffs that worked for them.
