This car adapter has saved lives more than enough times to be worth it. I originally bought a "just in case" for my breast pump in case I needed to pump in the car one day. I usually pump milk 4-5 times a day, starting the first session around 6:00 am. In order to have enough time for my 35-minute drive, to send my child to kindergarten and to be at work by 8:00 a.m., I have to leave the house by 7:15 a.m. at the latest. As any parent can attest, sometimes you just can't walk out the door when you have to. Several times I would wake up 15-20 minutes in the morning before I had to leave, which barely gave me enough time to dress, get dressed and feed the baby. This is where the adapter comes to the rescue. Since my boyfriend and I drive to work together, he can drive us while I use the adapter with my Medela Pump In. I can use these 35 minutes to express my breasts in the morning without being 35 minutes late for work. When we recently lost power after a big storm, I had an adapter to use in the car. It has more than paid for itself in usefulness. I would recommend it to all mums who need to pump milk on the go. Or even for "just in case" moments.
