Great tape holder. When oiled

Vegetable tanned leather is bone dry. Almost cardboard in its dryness. In order to make the tape holder flexible, durable and waterproof, you need to feed it a large amount of mink oil and coat it with a paste of mink oil and wax. (Or your oil of choice). Once you've done this you have a good looking, hard wearing product that will last for decades with proper care.
