Review on 🌡️ Mueller Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer: Fever, Body, and Surface Temperature Measurement, Memory Recall, Auto Power-Off, Backlight Indicator – White by Adam Taylor

In the interest of full disclosure I'm buying this one first because I've bought a Mueller Austria product in the past and they have they've done regular promotions to encourage you to buy more of their products at deep discounts (sometimes even going so far as to refund you everything with a VISA gift card). Obviously they then redirect you here and promise more (!) promotional items to give a rave review so they can sell more of the product. Having said all that, I have to say that I am impressed with the quality of their products. This product is a basic forehead thermometer and I can't really comment on its accuracy. I took my own temperature and it seemed to agree well (to the nearest degree Fahrenheit) with the oral thermometer. I think an error of 1-2 degrees is pretty typical for household thermometers. The product itself looks good. I liked the packaging and the design elements. it is totally intuitive and easy to use. What I really liked was that the battery cover was spring-loaded, so I didn't have to fiddle with a bulky sliding mechanism or a cheap, flexible plastic tab like a TV remote. I think Müller Austria should no longer present itself as a European company. If you do a little research, you'll find that it's just an American company (perhaps owned by a German?) that has made arrangements to put its brand on white-label products made in China. It looks like Mueller Austria is trying to exploit the tired American prejudice that anything made in China is automatically of poor quality and anything made in Europe or the US is made to higher manufacturing standards. It may have been true once, but that's obviously not true these days - just look at all the Apple products. TLDR; This is a good product that works properly and has nice design elements. Mueller Austria is not an Austrian company and should probably stop pretending unless they want to be slapped in the face with false advertising complaints.
