I have just purchased this item and have used it a few times so my review cannot be as comprehensive as some others. So far it works very well, heats up quickly and has a dial for experimenting with different heat settings. When I originally researched the curling iron, I didn't see that the same model came in different sizes. I would prefer 1 1/4" rather than 1" so I suggest checking the website for alternative sizes. 1 inch makes for more curl, so if a softer curl is desired, the larger size is probably better. I gave it four stars as it has yet to prove its durability. I hope it retains its functionality with continued use but overall this is a very good curling iron.
