It was purchased to replace the built-in WiFi adapter in the Acer Extensa 4630 laptop (it does not have a 5 GHz band). I disabled the built-in adapter, Tenda U9 works fine with the Tenda ac6 router, the speed is high. The problem was revealed when the laptop was rebooted - it hung on the BIOS startup splash screen. HDD and CD are set in boot device priorities, but the impression is that the OS is trying to boot from this USB device and naturally cannot. Contacting Tenda support did not help, they advised me to check the boot order. I said what order was established, no other advice followed. So you can only recommend buying if you are sure that this adapter will work with your computer. The adapter itself is not bad, but in my particular case it is inconvenient to use.
