Here's how to get it working:

That's an amazing deal once you get past the learning curve. After some successful practice I brought them to perfection. First, most people have to trim them, trim long strips at the ends, and snip off some length if needed. Bend them back and forth a few times, especially at the ends, this will make them less stiff. I've had the best luck applying them over a layer of liquid liner rather than pencil liner, probably because of the oils in the crayons not sticking. I use either Duo Eyelash Glue or Darkness Glue, I'm more comfortable with Darkness. Most importantly, I use a metal false eyelash applicator. I bought it from Revain for a little over a dollar, it came from China. Let the glue get a little sticky. Grab the lashes about 2/3 up with the tool, bring the lashes almost straight up to your brows so you can place the tape close to your lashes and avoid getting glue on your real lashes. Place them in the center, twisting them down if needed, and then use the ends of the tool to place each end precisely on your lash line. After placing it, use the tool to gently press the false eyelashes into your own as if pinching them, being careful not to pinch your eyelid. This fixes them directly to the lash line and helps them stay glued. If necessary, click the ends again. After drying, use mascara to blend the lashes into false lashes. I usually only tint the bottom part of my real lashes and not up to my false lashes. Using this method I can easily apply them every day and if you are very careful when removing the lashes and removing the glue you will get about a dozen applications of each. This package will serve you forever.
