Review on Camera Mini Selfie Tripod Flexible - Hummingbird: Versatile Tripod Stand & Selfie Stick Combo for Vlogging and DSLR Photography by Leon Thompkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Surprisingly strong but clearly limited in capacity

I bought this for its intended purpose with streaming lights, webcams and a mirrorless digital camera. Even though I have full size tripods, I wanted the tripods to fit easily in a 12 inch wide camera bag so they could be carried on different subjects. If you can find a stable surface or otherwise attach this tripod to something stable with Velcro or a zip tie, you can use the adjustable head to aim lights or webcams. After several hesitations with a mirrorless camera, I've decided not to use it with this tripod, relying solely on a stable surface - due to the unbalanced weight of the camera and cables attached to a tripod with longer legs - seemed like it more weight going to be the best way. to secure a camera of this size and cost. So far I've been able to position a tripod and aim my webcam or streaming lights while still maintaining my desire for portability. The tripod is made of plastic but has legs wide enough to provide stability on a flat surface or to be attached to any other stable object. My Streamlights came with similar sized tripods, but the tripods had fixed bases; the presence of an adjustable head for attaching webcams or flashlights, which allows you to aim without much effort. Time will tell, but for now, the adjustable head attachment mechanism looks mature. For the price I was very satisfied and I expect a lot of good things from it.
