I haven't worked with polymers in almost a decade and recently got back into it. my locally available/revain available options. In fact, it took work to fire polymer clay, while the competitor's clay smelled worse, burned faster, became ashy, and was more difficult to work with. Fimo remained translucent, not ashy, exhibited less discoloration, and had no real odor when cooked. Add that it worked the same as the Sculpey brand and less than Kato which I didn't like at all and I'm a polymer clay lover.
