Review on 🌼 Freshen Up Your Laundry with Tide Pods Laundry Detergent Spring Meadow Scent - 18 Count! by John Twardowski

OK but there are issues

I have been using Tide Pods for over 6 months. In general I like the product but not as much as Liquid Tide. My laundry tends to be very lightly soiled, so I have no issues with the cleaning power. My main reason for using it is that my arthritis makes it painful for me to lift heavy liquid bottles. Machine and get stuck in the pad leaving a partially dissolved sac and lots of slime at the end of the wash cycle that never got into the wash water. I contacted Tide about this and they said they had never heard of this issue but suggested putting the pod in a sock or pocket. I have yet to check within the first 4-5 minutes of the cycle to make sure the capsule hasn't "escaped," which has happened a couple of times. 2) I had the exact same issue reported by other reviewers of the capsule not dissolving properly in a shirt pocket. What a mess! I tried to peel the sticky substance (similar to a giant piece of chewing gum) off my shirt but to no avail. I washed it 3 times, I think it helped but it didn't go away completely. I'm glad the shirt is nearing the end of its life but the potential damage from thinner clothing is causing me to reconsider other cleaners.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
