I bought one of these DIY indoor badminton nets and we play daily with my 9 year old daughter in my high ceilinged living room. These racquets are the perfect size to play in the living room! very good answer, it's just perfect. The only improvement I made is that I bought a $3 pack of 1 inch rubber chair leg guards at the hardware store. They fit perfectly on the end of the handle and are now much more comfortable and easier to use. Having bought a few more sets and another standing net for Christmas gifts, the choice of birdies is great, even a few balls that would work better outside if it's windy. Highly recommended for kids and adults inside!
