I bought fairy lights for the outside last year and used up the 2 spare bulbs that came with them. These are LEDs instead of filament and plastic instead of glass, but they look pretty much the same as the other lights in the chain. They emit a warm yellow glow like other bulbs, but I'm sure they will last longer and last better than the original bulbs.
