Moderate your expectations and you will be fine

First things first, this is Pyle. What does that mean? That it won't appeal to a music lover, and if you have decent gear its performance is completely unimpressive. However, if you know what you're buying and are prepared to do so, then you're buying decent gear. For less than $100, you can't expect amazing quality. When the box arrived I immediately noticed that it was an order of magnitude lighter than my Denon 7.1.2 and Pioneer 9.1.2. However, these two receivers are in my great room and basement, powering some pretty high-end devices. Pyle goes outside to the pavilion's office. It will power two outdoor pool speakers for Area A and one campfire speaker for Area B. There will be no subwoofer and the sound quality will be as good as my phone's Bluetooth as we will only be streaming audio. There is no need to spend $500 on another Denon or $1,200 on another Pioneer for the limited needs of this project. Price wise, if it lasts a few years in an outdoor closet and is used most of the time during the summer then it's money spent. It took 10 minutes to unbox it, take it outside and plug in the three speakers. Bluetooth connected immediately and I disconnected and was streaming music from YouTube before Revain even updated the order page to indicate the item had been delivered. The sound is decent for the terrible outdoor speakers I have. The remote control isn't anything special, but it works, and while I don't usually like receivers with an outlet port, I think it's a good idea given where to keep them. Back when I had car audio systems, I wouldn't touch Pyle with a 5ft pole. But today, if you know what you're looking for in advance, it can be a bargain. An equivalent Sony receiver costs over $100 and is limited to 2 channels. Given that we have three speakers, this receiver is for you.
