Review on Dorman 42524 Wiper Arm by Juan Anderson

Repair for my SUV that had a portion of the window "missing". My Ford Explorer had issues with the wiper blade not touching the entire rear window. As suggested by others on many websites, this Dorman product was easy to install and easy to fix. I can save you trouble. The rear wiper motor is splined and the OEM wiper arm is also splined. This replacement lever is smooth where it attaches to the engine. When you tighten the motor it makes its own splines. This is the correct installation (despite general packaging instructions). Just follow the rest of the instructions to make sure the motor is in the right place before installing the lever.
