As my daughter's school is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, I had to set up a desk in her room where she could have many things that needed to be plugged in (table lamp, laptop , charger for tablet,.). Problem is, the only place it made sense to put a table (without completely rearranging everything else) was against a wall with no outlets. This solved this problem easily. The cord is long enough to run to the baseboards, around the room, around the corner and to the duplex on the other wall. I think it's a lot nicer and probably safer than trying to run an extension cord up the wall. the same distance (one connection less, which can cause problems).
