We bought this paper when I started collecting a hardbound notebook on CD for my writing projects. I needed good kraft paper and found it after a little searching on the internet. After our first order we knew we would need more. The paper is smooth and most of my pen colors come out remarkably well on it, although the lighter shades of orange and yellow are harder to read. The paper has good grain and the gel ink does not bleed or run. The pencil isn't that noticeable either, of course, but that's to be expected on any brown or kraft paper. The ink dries faster than you'll see on smooth or bright white paper, with little smudging or smearing, even with heavy pigment inks. the paper is not heavy for our inkjet printer and we can print layouts with it relatively easily. It's a strong paper that won't bend, break or tear, but can easily be cut. It will definitely become a staple.
