used it to clean old carpets in a double width house I bought on foreclosure. which my neighbors found quite surprising. First I called the local carpet cleaner but they only clean the hood so I said fuck it I can do it myself and I did. As I said, I've retouched it several times, but these rugs are ruined, spoiled by dogs and years of neglect. This mat has held up well and still has life in it for even more use. but I've worn it pretty well. A bit pricey but worth it. Still cheaper than most other brands. Overall, the hood panels are just overpriced.
