Review on Metra 70-8113 Amplifier Integration Harness for Toyota Vehicles (2000-2004) – Select and Optimize Your Car Audio System by Matthew Fadoul

I highly recommend this product. Buy it. Makes installation easy.

This worked great with no problems on my 2007 Toyota Highlander with JBL audio and no navigation. I was struggling to install an Android head unit. I've read on various Toyota websites that nothing on Toyota Highlanders works the way I do. Someone here said this Metra 70-8113 hanger worked on their Highlander so I bought it. Looks like Metra upgraded this wiring harness because people have complained that it didn't have a power antenna or power amp wire (either one), and I believe it didn't have a lighting wire. I had a power antenna and power amplifier and cable for the backlight, all the cables were there. Installation: 1) Connect all the Metra harness wires to the head unit harness wires. Battery to Battery, ACC to ACC, Light to Light, Antenna to Antenna, Amplifier to Amplifier, etc. It has an easy guide for you to follow. 2) Very important. You will see 2 black wires from the Metra harness (1 has a white line). Connect both with a black wire from the main unit wiring harness. These 3 wires are ground. 3) Connect the 2 RCAs from the Metra harness to the 2 RCAs coming out of the main unit. 4) Insert the main unit wiring harness into the main unit. Connect the Metra wiring harness to the Toyota wiring harness and you are done. It's very easy, just make sure you connect these 2 black wires from the Metra harness to the 1 black wire from the main unit harness. Great product, great price and very easy to use. To install. :)
