I bought a Samyang 85 / 1.4 to replace it, since Sigma turned out to be lighter in direct comparison, this is important to me, because I like to shoot concerts in nightclubs. Exclusively in terms of characteristics and picture, the lens is amazing. But after the light and compact Samyang, the Sigma was frankly unpleasant to use. Too big and heavy, just unpleasant to get out of the bag, even despite the presence of autofocus. Which by the way is quite leisurely, the eye tracking function does not work very well with it, it is difficult to find eyes and easily lose them. In video, autofocus is very weak, it cannot correctly track even a calmly walking person in the field. Tested on Sony a7rii. I used it for a month and sold it by changing to Sigma 85 / 1.4 DG DN ART. I took a few comparisons of this lens: Comparison with Samyang 85/1.4, Samyang 135/2, Sony 85/1.8 and Tamron 70-200/2.8 https://www. Youtube.
